A Little Inspiration...ALWAYS ask questions...

Hi everyone!  I can't wait until we're back at school next week!

Here's a little bit of inspiration to encourage you to always ask questions, seek answers and challenge what you already know or think.

I had a fascination with Rubic's Cube when I was younger and my best friend was the school champion at solving it.  My son is also pretty amazing at solving these types of puzzles that have developed from the original cube.

Watch this clip and think about the questions you have.  We start exploring Genius Day ideas this week!

  1. I'm not very good at solving these kinds of puzzles. I've never been able to figure them out! I wonder what kinds of jobs there will be when we grow up.

    1. What makes them hard to solve puzzles Darcy - apart from they can drive you crazy in the process! What strategies have you tried? I'm incredibly curious about what jobs will be around even in 5 years' time.

    1. Hi Emma. You have the best attitude towards your learning - that's a really powerful Growth Mindset and the power of 'yet'. You're always so keen to learn. Love it!

  3. This is such a good video, we don't know what things will look like in the future but we do know who will invent them- WE WILL! I hate those sorts of puzzles, because when you think you are done there is one square wrong and it eventually comes to swapping the stickers.
