Science Experiment with our visiting Scientist

We were studying science and we had heard that Heeni had been studying science in her class so Room 3 had Heeni come in and show us her experiment.

How to fit an egg in to a jar:
(step by step instructions)
You will need:
A hard boiled egg (peel the egg )
A glass bottle (that the egg can not fit in to)
Matches ( make  sure a parent is a round to light the match)

Step one :Put a non lighted match in the bottle
Step two : light the next match and put it on the bottle (LET THE MATCH BURN FOR A WHILE)
Step three: Then put the egg on top of the bottle
Then wait to see what happens!

Hypothesis
I thought that it was going go in straight away.

So...what DID happen?  You'll have to try it and see!

  11. Great Job Heeni, I think it may have been better if you lit a piece of paper and stuck it in the bottle. It still worked though so good job!
